It is summer in the Finnmark! The temperatures were far above thirty degrees celsius the whole day and when I came home from work, the thermometer showed me a shocking 51,9 degrees celsius in the sun. Luckily the free yard of my huskies is lying in the shadow the whole day long. It was already eleven o’clock in the night when it became cold enough to go for a short walk with Taiga and Leif. We went down to the river and although we didn’t have to walk far, my dogs were quite thirsty when we came to the river.
On our way home we went along the beach of the Langfjord and you really forget about all those bloodthirsty mosquitos which are attacking you when seeing the beautiful colors of the midnight sun.
