Every year there comes a day at the end of November for all of us living here in the northern part of Norway where the sun goes down one evening and doesn’t come back the next morning. The polar night begins. We have to wait almost two months until we can see the sun the next time. During the last days before the polar night, everybody tries to catch a glimpse of that planet that is warming us. But in the last weeks, almost everyday it was cloudy and, therefore, I wasn’t quite sure if I could see the sun again before it disappears. Therefore, I was more than happy about the clear sky today. I enjoyed the few hours of daylight during a short late autumn walk and I was also lucky enough to see the sun for the last time this year!
